Photography By Ed Home   Prices   Gallery   Contact   Equipment Prices [Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice] Event Photography Photos are taken of your event using a digital SLR camera and uploaded to www.DotPhoto.com.  The photos are placed in a password protected account.  They remain there for 120 days and then they are deleted.  Event participants can then logon and purchase photos.  There is no charge for photographing your event but it is understood that a reasonable minimum number of photos (approximately 50) will be purchased.  Typical prices for popular print sizes are as follows:    • 4X6 (print):    $1.50    • 8X10 (print):   $4.79    • 12X18 (poster): $15.71    • 16X20 (poster): $21.71    • 20X30 poster): $27.71    • 24X36 poster): $31.31    • 30X40 poster): $49.31 Prices are subject to change due to www.DotPhoto.com changing their prices.  Various other products with your photo are available from www.DotPhoto.com.  Some examples are: calendars, mouse pad, photo coasters, mugs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, puzzles and candy.  Go to www.DotPhoto.com for a full description of their products.  Prices are marked up a few dollars over the standard prices listed on www.DotPhoto.com. Studio Portraits Free Studio Portraits Discount Portrait Plan:  $75.00. Approximately a 30 minute portrait session using a digital SLR camera with clothing and poses of your choice.  The photo files will be taken in JPG format. You can choose your favorite 3 photos and the photos will be cropped, edited and airbrushed as necessary.  If the portraits were taken using Chroma Key Blue or Green backdrops then any available background of your choice will be substiuted.  What you are buying is a digital portrait service.  All the photo files taken will be burned to a CD or DVD as appropriate free of charge.  You can then work on the files and have them printed at your favorite store or your computer printer. If you wish I can upload them to www.DotPhoto.com so you can purchase the items of your choice.  Photos that are uploaded to www.dotphoto.com remain there for 120 days and then they are deleted. Regular Portrait Plan:  $150.00 Approximately a 1 to 2 hour portrait session using a digital SLR camera with clothing and poses of your choice.  The photo files will be taken in JPG format. Web Site Construction Why pay hundreds of dollars or more for a web site?  A simple 5 page web site can be made for $100.00. Additional pages when made at the same time $15.00 each.  Price does not include web site space or cost of obtaining the domain name (e.g. www.domainname.com). Photography by Ed can show you how to obtain web space and domain name. The web site can be written in such a way that with minimum training you can make minor edits yourself. This training is included in the cost of the web site. Important Note about Print and Poster Sizes Be careful when ordering prints with a height to width ratio other than 1.5 to 1.  The photo files have a height to width ratio of 1.5 to 1 and will fit the following print and poster sizes: 4X6, 12X18, 20X30 and 24X36.  Other print sizes will have the top and bottom of the file cropped to fit the paper.  It is possible to turn the cropping off and force the entire file to be printed.  These prints will have a white border.  Be sure to check the cropping for any print or poster other than those sizes listed above otherwise you may cut off an important part of the photo.
